Payment and Cancellation Policies

Payment Policy:

Our office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover; as well as Health Savings Account and Flexible Savings Account cards. For extended initial evaluations, payment can be processed in two installments; at the time of appointment scheduling and then approximately 48 hours prior to your appointment.  For all other appointments, payment information is processed at the time of appointment scheduling. We do not accept insurance for payment; however, we will provide you with a properly coded itemized receipt that includes the appropriate diagnostic and billing codes. Many insurance plans will cover part of the cost of office visits according to their out-of-network provider schedule and may cover some or all of the costs of diagnostic testing.  We can assist you with the submission process.

Cancellation Policy:

At Alternity Healthcare, we see one patient at a time so that each patient gets our undivided attention.  To provide that level of personalized service, we allocate large blocks of time in our schedule for each appointment. Accordingly, our cancellation policy is very strict and refunds will not be provided. Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled appointment will be rescheduled without penalty. Appointments that are cancelled within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50% of the visit charge.  If multiple appointments are cancelled, irrespective of the notice, Alternity Healthcare may charge the 50% cancellation fee.

Refund Policy:

Payments for initial visits that have occurred are not refundable.  Generally, programs are non-cancellable for the stated term.  In the event that Alternity Healthcare agrees to cancel a program, none of the fees paid to the point of the cancellation are refundable.  This is due to the fact that there is a significant amount of effort to create the individualized program and the initial prescriptions.  Scheduled future payments will be cancelled if Alternity Healthcare agrees to the cancellation.
